On Tuesday, February 10th, Wyatt Sharp, Jack Sears, and Calvin Harrison signed with their respective colleges, marking the next chapter in their athletic careers. Sharp and Sears will continue playing at Northwest Community College, while Harrison will join Jones Community College.

Northwest Community College, located in Senatobia, Mississippi, was founded in 1926 and is excited to welcome both Sharp and Sears into their community.

Jones Community College, founded in 1911 and located in Ellisville, is thrilled to have Calvin Harrison join their team.

Head Coach Mark Hogan expressed his pride in the three athletes, acknowledging that not every player gets the opportunity to extend their athletic career into college.

Throughout their high school varsity careers, Sharp, Sears, and Harrison combined for an impressive 68 goals and 29 assists. Sharp, a striker, contributed 6 goals and 7 assists to that total.

When asked why he chose Northwest Community College, Sharp shared, “The coaching really intrigued me, and the location, being close to home, made it the perfect fit. It also opens up more opportunities for me in the future.”

Sharp also took a moment to thank those who helped him reach this point in his career. “A lot of it is my family and friends. Even through the tough times, they always pushed me to be better. My family has been a huge support.”

As the boys signed and committed to their colleges, their families, friends, and teammates gathered to celebrate this exciting moment in their lives. Everyone is eager to watch these athletes continue their careers and is proud of their accomplishments.

We believe these young men are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to, whether it’s in their academic journey, soccer career, or any path they choose in the future.

Years of hard work, dedication, training, and overcoming challenges have paved the way for their collegiate success. We are grateful to have witnessed their growth during their high school careers and wish them nothing but the best as they take on this next chapter in college.
