The Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13 in the Super Bowl, delivering a dominant performance on the national stage.

Although the final score suggests a competitive matchup, Seattle controlled much of the game from start to finish. The Seahawks led 9-0 at halftime after limiting the Patriots’ offensive production in the first two quarters. New England struggled to move the ball consistently and failed to capitalize on early opportunities.

Seattle relied heavily on strong special teams play, converting five field goals,  a Super Bowl record for most field goals made in a single game. Running back Kenneth Walker III played a key role in setting up those scoring chances, consistently gaining yardage and helping the Seahawks win the field position battle. While the offense did not always finish drives with touchdowns, it maintained steady pressure by putting points on the board.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye faced constant defensive pressure throughout the game. He threw two interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown that extended Seattle’s lead and shifted momentum further in the Seahawks’ favor. The Patriots’ offense struggled to find rhythm, particularly in the first half.

New England entered the game after several close postseason victories, including a 10-7 win over the Denver Broncos. However, the Seahawks proved to be a more complete team on Super Bowl Sunday.

With the win, Seattle adds another championship to its franchise history and caps off the season with an impressive performance.
