In a moment of pride and anticipation, Hernando High School Senior, Kaylin Lynch, signed her letter of intent to continue her athletic career with the Itawamba Indians. The announcement marks a significant milestone in what has been a journey of unwavering dedication, commitment, and resilience.
From the start of her career, Lynch has shown a remarkable work ethic, both on and off the field. She sets a high standard for what it means to be a true competitor.
The decision to sign with Itawamba Community College comes after an impressive career that saw Lynch grow into one of the most respected athletes in the area. The chance to further her career at the collegiate level represents a culmination of years of sacrifice, early mornings, and countless hours of practice.
Head principal of Hernando High School, Duane Case, shared a brief statement in the introduction of the signing. “I’ve known you your whole life, mostly through your grandmother, she’s very proud of you. She brags about you all the time,” he shared. “We’re proud of you, and are glad to share this moment with you, can’t wait to see what you’re going to do in the future,” he adds.
Lynch shared why she decided to commit to Itawamba Community College. “It has a great environment, all the people are so sweet and kind, and I love all of my coaches.”
When asked about her academic path, she was unsure whether or not her major will be ultrasound or kinesiology. Lynch will contribute to her new team by,”… being there for my teammates, being supportive as I can, and doing my best,” Lynch replied.
