Super Typhoon Wong-Fung stormed through the Philippines,  leaving many dead and millions displaced in its wake.

In November, Typhoon Wong-Fung dropped, classified as a super Typhoon, with wind speeds of 155 mph and gusts of 143 mph, and stood at 1,800 kilometers. It first dropped down in the Northeastern Aurora Province in Luzon, tearing through the mountains and leaving the area devastated by flash floods, landslides, and destruction in just a night. Along its path, it weakened into a tropical storm as it moved into the South China Sea.

The storm was heading to Taiwan, where thousands had already been evacuated, but the damage had already been done. The severe flooding had affected the whole island due to the constant rain. Businesses and schools had been closed in some parts of the island, with 51 people recorded injured. Coming just days after typhoon Kalmaegi, which killed more than 200 people, families are struggling to get through these trying times.

Right now farming regions and homes have been destroyed and the locals are left to pick the pieces of their lost home. At least 8 have been confirmed dead

Taiwan and the Philippines aren’t the only ones that have been effected, while the typhoon was still a Super Typhoon passing through the South China it caused major flooding and power loss, a recorded 2,800 homes were destroyed and 500,000 suffered from power outages.

This event will be remembered by dozens, as the loss of a home, the loss of a loved one, and the destruction of their life, but many efforts have been put in place, both military and non-government have been successful in relief efforts.
