Liam Payne, former One Direction member, passed away at the age of 31 after falling off the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Police Personnel from Precinct 14b got a distressed call reporting “an aggressive man who could be under the influence of drugs or alcohol”. The call, which occurred minutes before Payne’s death, according to the prosecutor’s office, did not name Payne. After medics arrived, they noted that the singer had sustained “extremely serious injuries” and declared him dead on the scene. Per the autopsy, Payne died of “polytrauma and internal and external bleeding.”

The group included three hotel workers and two women who had been with Payne in his room in the hours before his death but were not present at the time of death.

According to the autopsy, Payne had multitudes of drugs in his body. “Pink Cocaine” is a recreational drug that’s a combination of methamphetamine, ketamine, MDMA, and others – as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack. An improvised aluminum pipe used to ingest drugs was also found in his hotel room, according to the sources. His body will remain in Argentina until the autopsy is fully complete, according to ABC News.
