After thirteen years of hard practice and discipline, Hernando High School senior Kole Kusek signed a letter of intent to Itawamba Community College. He committed to playing tennis there in hopes of playing at the Division One level in the coming years.
Following a semifinals loss last season, Kusek has hopes of winning a state championship this upcoming tennis season. He says that his biggest inspiration for playing tennis is the love of the game and the lessons that he’s learned over the years.
Kole’s biggest motivation in tennis is winning, and as dedicated as he is, that’s not going to be a problem during this tennis season. His discipline and dedication show that he’s truly a student of the game and is well respected within the tennis scene in Hernando.
Surrounded by family and friends that helped him along his journey up until this point, Kole Kusek hopes to leave a long-lasting legacy at Hernando High School long after he graduates from the school and moves on to bigger things.
