Get ready for a spooktacular time as the Memphis Zoo hosts a Halloween event titled ‘Zoo Boo’.
Zoo Boo is a family-friendly, Halloween-themed event held at various zoos, including our Memphis Zoo, featuring attractions like trick-or-treating throughout the park, Halloween themed rides, and decorations. Activities include “Candy Lane,” “Monster Zoo,” and “Mad Scientist Lab,” with some events offering not-so-spooky or allergy-friendly options for different ages. Many locations require advance ticket purchases, and popular events like the Memphis Zoo’s version run on select nights in October and early November.
The event is hosted from October 10, 2025, through November 1, 2025 at 9:30 am.
From the Memphis Zoo website,
“Halloween returns with Le Bonheur Zoo Boo, a safe and family-friendly fall festival that has become a beloved tradition in our community. From glowing pumpkin creatures and colorful displays to singing skeletons, friendly ghosts, candy stations, a scavenger hunt, and a magic show with Magic Mr. Nick, every corner of the Zoo is filled with festive fun.”
“Families can explore Trick or Teach stations featuring our education teams, enjoy the evening together in a welcoming environment, and soak in the playful spirit of the season. Dress up in your best costume, bring your trick-or-treat bags, and gather your boo crew for a night of laughter, games, and sweet surprises.”
“Zoo Boo is a separate ticketed event. Tickets can only be purchased through the Memphis Zoo. Celebrate the season safely, enjoy time with family and friends, and make memories that will last a lifetime.”
A worker at the Memphis Zoo, Caroline E, was asked, ‘What is your favorite part of Zoo Boo?’ “Getting to interact with people of all ages.” said Caroline.
When Caroline was asked, ‘Is Zoo Boo your favorite event at the Memphis Zoo?’ “Zoo Lights is definitely a fun one, but Zoo Boo is a little warmer.” said Caroline.
Families come dressed up in their Halloween attire, ready to have a blast with different attractions including a magic show, a fun dance party, and trick-or-treating throughout the park. A fun, spooky, family-friendly adventure awaits you and your friends and family at the Memphis Zoo, ‘Zoo Boo’!
