After working hard all their lives four seniors, Leo Frank, Zander McBride, Daniel Van Buren, and Arturo Tapia, all signed to further their soccer career at the collegiate level.
Leo Frank signed to Northwest Community College, stating that he will miss his high school days. His favorite memories are making the middle school and high school soccer teams. Winning state last year was a big highlight of his high school career. Leo has been playing soccer for 8 years! His dad was the one who introduced him to soccer, and he quickly fell in love with the sport. Leo plans to major in Biology at Northwest because it is closer to home and he wants to stay close to his hometown.
Zander McBride signed to East Mississippi Community College. Zander has been playing soccer since he was four. His favorite successes are winning state and making play offs every year for soccer. Zander’s dad introduced him to soccer. The best memory from soccer is winning state the season prior to this season. He chose East Mississippi because he really likes the campus, and the coach is a promising guy. Zander wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
Daniel Van Buren signed to East Mississippi Community College. He has been a very great impact on Hernando boys’ soccer by working hard throughout the whole season. Daniel has been a light for the soccer team since he has joined it. We can’t wait to see him reach his goals when he attends East Mississippi Community College.
Arturo Tapia signed to Itawamba Community College. One of Arturo’s biggest successes was winning state last season with all his best friends. Arturo’s impact to the Hernando High school boys’ soccer team has been nothing but fantastic. Arturo has worked hard all season and all of his soccer career.
We are so happy for all these seniors, and we can’t wait to see them reach the goals they want when they start their collegiate career.
