The popular teen show Outer Banks which first aired April 15, 2020, finally released a new season after a year and a half of waiting. Viewers rushed to watch the new season as soon as it aired. If you didn’t already know Outer Banks is about six kids that go looking for treasure in their town split between pages and kooks, after a long time of facing many challenges on their way to success, from Ward, Sarah’s dad who is also out to get the gold.

They get lost in the ocean and end up on a deserted island for six weeks. There was also that time when John B. got arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. They finally find the hidden treasure. With the money they get from finding the gold, they create their dream house called Portlandia, where all the teens live and work together in paradise.

However, it doesn’t last long as they fall into hardship when JJ bets the rest of their money and loses it all. So they set out to find the lost treasure of Black Beard.

Fans have created many theories about what is yet to come in the next few episodes realizing in November. Some of the main ones are character deaths. Some think that JJ could be killed off to save his friends, and others think Rafe may die. There has also been the theory of JJ’s mom coming back since the last episode released revealed his biological dad. The most popular theory so far that has been created is that Sarah and JJ are siblings.

Personal Opinion:

In my opinion it was pretty good. I think the first season is the best just because it’s so iconic but this season had a lot of big plot twists. The next few epsodes releasing are bound to have lots of eventful things so I’m excited to continue watching it.
